Barcelona & Farmigo

This summer, you’ll be able to cook with the same phenomenal produce we do. How? Through the new Barcelona Farmigo Program.

We’re curating a group of the best local farmers we’ve ever worked with, and bringing them to you. That means picked-today veggies, artisan breads, and free range eggs… all in one place.

What you get each week is completely up to you– you’ll set that up in our super-simple online store (sponsored by farmigo.com). Each Tuesday, you’ll pick up your weekly box. And we’ll be waiting with open arms, Happy Hour specials and a taste of the Barcelona chef’s recipe-of-the-week.

At the link above, you’ll choose your subscriptions and provide a payment method. Each Tuesday, you’ll pick up your subscriptions at Barcelona Fairfield (3pm-8pm). You’ll be billed weekly, according to what you ordered… and you can change, hold, or cancel your subscription at any time.

Curious about who these farmers are and why we chose them? Each of our participating farms were handpicked by Farah, Barcelona’s sourcing expert and farmer relations guru…

Sport Hill Farm grows a huge variety of gorgeous produce. Patty and her husband are the vivacious, amazing people that run the farm. They’re real leaders in the community, so it’s amazing to hear them say that they had never farmed before 2001.

Wave Hill Breads is an incredible artisan micro-bakery. These bakers will be hand-selecting different loaves each week.

Speckled Rooster is a brand-new farm started by a young couple (Matt and Jess) with a flair for growing and huge enthusiasm for the Barcelona program.

Cherry Grove Farm is a gorgeous, well-rooted farm tended and cultivated by Joel. Cherry Grove grows everything from veggies to berries.

Cotes Naturals. Tyler at Cotes Naturals uses aquaponics and “21st Century farming” to grow some of the most beautiful (and healthiest!) salad greens you’ve seen.

  1. What a great idea!

Would your special spices and cooking ingredients make this list at some point as well?

It is such a pleasure to be partnering with Barcelona Wine Bar so that we can deliver the freshest locally grown food to the community. I look forward to seeing those amazing recipes from the Barcelona chefs.
