Castilla y Leon is the largest region in Spain, situated in the northwestern part of the country. It was formed in 1983 when the regions of Castilla la Vieja and Leon were united. The Meseta, a dry, arid plain, makes up most of the terrain, along with various mountain ranges. Castilla y Leon is known for its’ vegetables and meats, especially lamb. The cities of Avila, Valladolid, Salamanca, and Burgos are all located in this region.

Our importer, Dominic Rodriguez introduced us to this place, and is now a favorite to always visit. One of the best grilled steaks you can have in Spain, and with all the great Ribero del Duero wines on the menu you can't go wrong. Casual atmosphere, no need to get dressed up.
